OCS 2007 R2 does not support SQL Server 2008 Service Pack 2

Since SQL Server 2008 has included features changes rather than product hot fixes, currently OCS 2007 R2 does support / has not been tested in the  new features introduced in SQL Server 2008 SP2. The current supported Database are listed here:

The following list of supported database management systems applies to the Office Communications Server Back-End Database and to the Archiving, Monitoring, and Group Chat databases:

• Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Enterprise or SQL Server 2008 Standard (32-bit or 64-bit edition)
  
• Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Enterprise Edition with SP2 or SQL Server 2005 Standard Edition with SP2 (32-bit or 64-bit edition)

Later Service Packs to each supported SQL version are also supported, for example, SQL Server 2005 SP3 and SQL Server 2008 SP1.
