Setup and Install Lync client to communicate to OCS 2007 R2

Using Lync Client to connect to OCS 2007 R2, based on the research which was done by my team 🙂 refer … to  Thanks Alton Goh.

Now i can setup and install my Lync client to communicate to my office OCS 2007 R2.

Firstly Create the key in the registry, this is to bypass the version check: 

Key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Communicator
Name:  DisableServerCheck
Type: DWORD
Value: 1 (00000001)

Setting up Lync Client to communicate back to Microsoft Office Communication Server 2007 R2

 

Successfully setup

Download and install patches (Released in January)

Restart the machines, and then you are done !!
